Thank you for your interest in Westside Atlanta Charter School. Westside is a free, public charter school serving students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Enrollment at Westside is determined through a lottery system. There are no academic requirements for enrollment, however all students must reside within the Atlanta Public Schools (APS) zone to attend Westside (you can verify your zone at https://maps.apsk12.org).
The lottery for the 2023 -2024 school year opens on January 3, 2023. All families interested in enrollment at Westside should register their child on the Atlanta Public Schools lottery website.
If you your child receives a spot at Westside, you will need to complete new student paperwork within the timeframe provided in your email notification.

Once a student is enrolled at Westside, they will not need to enter the lottery each school year, their spot is guaranteed. Current families are asked to complete re-enrollment paperwork each January for the following school year.
School Tours
We are excited to welcome prospective families to our campus for a tour. Tours begin with a presentation and information session in our media center, followed by a Q & A and school tour. We look forward to welcoming prospective families on our campus.
