BREAKTHROUGH ATLANTA APPLICATIONS
Breakthrough Atlanta (BTA) is a tuition free six-year, year-round program that provides a pathway to college for middle and high school students. Their goals are to ensure our students are on track for high school and college while developing critical thinking skills and maturity to make wise choices about school and life. They do this through a 6-week, academic based program and Saturday programming throughout the school year (happening right now!).
Breakthrough’s summer program is June 13th-July 22nd for rising 7th and 8th grade students.
- To qualify students must:
- Be a current 6th or 7th grader
- Aspire to become a first-generation college student (neither parents have received a degree from a 4-year university)
- Receive great recommendations from teachers
